Grosvenor Casino, a longstanding client of FIVEfoot8, has an ongoing campaign for their Luton casino to promote a number of events across a range of media including town centre D6s, D48s, local press, online and even mobile digivans!
The Luton venue is their first casino to provide sports betting and therefore part of the casino has been renovated to house a new sports bar, with betting terminals and large screens. This makes it a perfect destination for watching big sporting events such as the horse racing at Cheltenham, golf at the Masters and the Eubank vs. Benn fight, as well as the crucial games for Luton Town FC’.
The casino has hosted Q&A evenings, with John Arne Riise, Emmanuel Petit and Martin Jol being recent guests. FIVEfoot8 identified that a number of Arsenal fans travel from the Bedfordshire area and therefore, as well as promoting the Emmanuel Petit event locally, we used a digivan outside of Arsenal’s Emirates stadium during their UEFA CL match against Dinamo Zagreb.
We had the pleasure of meeting the local team (to ensure the promotional campaign was running smoothly) and they were pleased with the campaign visibility and turn out at the Q&A events. To date the sports bar has proved to be a hit with sporting fans.
